Transitional Federal eagle inlaid cherry chest of drawers, the rectangular top above four graduated and string-inlaid and cockbeaded long drawers, the bottom drawer inlaid with a displayed American eagle, bearing a shield and within a buried vine wreath, all flanked by fluted quarter columns and raised on splayed French bracket feet joined by a shaped apron.
Connecticut, circa 1800.
