Late 18th century/ early 19th century New England childâ€™s blanket chest, the rectangular lid with molded edges above the conforming case opening to an interior fitted with till. Sides continue to shaped boot jack ends. Interior of blanket lid states the following:
â€śEnoch Goddard and Sons, J.G. Son of Enoch. This trunk was used by the boys to trade on. J.G. was Emma Round's father, born May 5, 1821â€ť
