Very rare and unusual mid-Atlantic Hepplewhite mahogany cellarette on stand, circa 1800 with extensive inlay. The hinged rectangular top with oval inlaid paterae possessing beaded inlaid borders. The conforming stand retains inlay decoration of a stylized urns the tapered legs terminating with satinwood cuff inlay. Most cellarettes are of English origin, making this American example quite rare.
Measure: Upper case 20” W X 15 ½” D
With base 36” H.
