19th Century portrait of a young girl in a white dress with pantaloons seated in a landscape holding a spray of spring flowers attributed to artist Hannah Fairfield. Hannah Fairfield worked as an artist in Woodstock, Connecticut and was also active in New York City from 1836 to 1839. From 1836 - 1839, she was at the National Academy where she studied under Alexander Robertson.
